What We Do
Founded in 2024, we operate consumer-facing websites and digital advertising campaigns that invite drivers in all 50 U.S. states to request auto insurance quotes. When a driver submits their information through one of our forms, we refer that information to licensed insurance agents, brokers, and insurance marketplaces — currently including Lead Economy / LeadPier, Smart Financial, and Kissterra — who then contact the driver with quote options.

Smart Driver is not an insurance company, agency, or broker. We do not issue policies, bind coverage, or provide insurance advice. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any insurance carrier or any federal, state, or local government agency. We do not hold an insurance producer license because we do not sell, solicit, or negotiate insurance. How We Make Money
When a driver requests a quote through Smart Driver, we are paid a marketing referral fee by the partner that receives the referral. This compensation does not increase the price a driver pays for insurance. Drivers are never charged for using Smart Driver.

We are committed to transparent advertising and honest disclosure of our role in the referral process. We design our sites and advertising to comply with applicable federal and state consumer protection laws, including:
